You know, when I saw Jules et Jim I felt it was insanely overrated, and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one.
Join the growing club! I'd really suggest hunting this down instead - the French title is Les deux anglaises et le continent.

i also find jules et jim unsatisfying... or at least too lengthy for what it ends up delivering. so i will check this out.
