I've avoided this until I finally get around to finishing the novel, which I always get stranded amidst... not because I dislike it, but I always seem to pick poor and over-committed times to try to read it. I've actually never read any Dickens all the way through except for A Christmas Carol, which, as my friend Leora puts it, "Even Dickens would assure you that doesn't count."

I know the feeling. Gearing up to read Bleak House, but keep putting it off. For a while I tried to get by just reading the short ones, but after butting heads with Hard Times decided enough was enough...

How are you liking The Moviegoer, btw? I remember loving it, except that's all I do remember about it!

Ridiculously, I'm actually only part-way through it still - too many books, too little time - but I'm really liking it...
